Relationship Banking and the Importance of A Single Point of Contact
07/25/2025
At The Old Fort Banking Company, our goal is to develop strong, meaningful relationships with our Clients. To do so, we provide each of our Clients with a Single Point of Contact (SPOC). A SPOC refers to having one, dedicated representative that manages all of our Client's banking needs. So why is this important?
It is important for many reasons...first and foremost, it allows the Banker to "connect" with you, the Client. The better we can connect with the Client, the more we can become your trusted advisor. Other reasons it is important are as follows.
- As your SPOC, we get to know and understand your needs, allowing us to offer more informed advice in a timely manner. No need for you to have to explain your situation to multiple bank representatives.
- You will only need to reach out to one, dedicated Banker for all of your business needs. If needed, the SPOC can then bring in other bank specialists.
- Helps strengthen the Banker/Client relationship while building trust between the two. The stronger the relationship, the more long-term it could become.
- Allows you to spend more time focusing on your business, practice, etc., while trusting that the Banker will find solutions to your needs.
- With just one call, you'll feel confident knowing we're here and ready to take care of you.
By providing our clients with a Single Point of Contact, you will benefit from a strong, consistent approach to providing business solutions, leading to better relationships and increased satisfaction.
